Save the American Dollar

Save the American Dollar

Republicans for the National Interest recognizes the problem:

  • Foreign interests are grabbing our national treasures literally at "Going Out Of Business" prices, which diminishes our economic prosperity over time.
  • Dangerously high levels of US Treasury Bills are being horded by the Red Chinese and Saudis, who then exert too much influence over our political leaders for their own selfish interests.
  • American working and middle class families are seeing their real purchasing power in decline; therefore, in order to maintain the illusion of a middle class quality of life, they are borrowing beyond their means.
  • American working and middle class families are falling prey to the promises of government assistance in all aspects of life, because they are less able to afford private services; therefore, there is more demand for deficit spending.

Republicans for the National Interest works for the solution:

  • The decline of the American Dollar emerges mostly from the growing perception of greater economic opportunity elsewhere; therefore, we must foster widespread use of fuel alternatives, and all components of the “green economy,” that will give us the competitive edge globally.
  • Another cause is our enormous trade deficit with emerging economies, which use slave labor and currency manipulation to keep an unfair advantage; therefore, we must foster a much more aggressive trade posture that does not sellout the American worker in favor of outsourcing opportunities for elites.
  • Another cause is our enormous national debt, which promotes inflation; therefore, we must pursue lower taxes that actually increase tax revenues; and we must pursue a federal line item veto that will provide for more political accountability over deficit spending.
  • Another cause is our enormous consumer debt, which results in an unstable credit market; therefore, we must pursue incentives for keeping business opportunities here that pay better real wages, rather than giving incentives for outsourcing and importing wage depreciating illegal immigrant labor.
  • Another cause is how the Federal Reserve manipulates monetary policy for the benefit of Wall Street, often at the expense of real purchasing power on Main Street; therefore, we must pursue greater civilian oversight of the Federal Reserve and the possibility of overturning hurtful monetary policy.

We are not victims of the global economy, the central bankers, the lobbyists, the lawyers, and the politicians, unless we choose to be victims.

We shall succeed in preserving an American Dollar that benefits our quality of life, rather than seeing our prosperity fall in the face of misguided elitism.

If you agree with us, then regardless of your party registration we urge you to lend us your hand.

With your help we shall provide regular articles and commentaries about the necessity of maintaining a sound dollar. Also, we shall continue to pursue our energetic program of recruiting and electing "sound money" Republicans.
