As Chairman of the Sonoma County Republican Party, I look upon your recent endorsement of Supervisor Valerie Brown for re-election with more derision than disappointment.
Indeed, I had suggested to my fellow Republicans that, in spite of the pro-forma action of interviewing the candidates, in fact the "deliberation process" would consist of little more than taking out the past endorsement of Ms. Brown, blowing off dust from the parchment, and updating the dates and opponents' names. I had recommended that our endorsed candidate, Lawrence Wiesner, not waste his time in being interviewed, since the Press Democrat already made its bias clear, by exclusively referring to him as a "Republican" and as "pro life."
I want truly to thank you for confirming our expectations. Predictability is your strong suit.
